At the pinnacle of luxury, the american alligator leather belt in dark brown makes for a elegant and dressy belt that is sure to turn heads. This dark brown alligator comes from the French tannery HCP and this belt is made from a single piece of alligator, known as wholecut.

This belt is 100% handstitched and takes approximately 4 hours of handstitching to completely stitch the entire belt. We've lined this belt with a petrol green pebbled calfskin called Odessa Calf from the Germany tannery Weinheimer Leder. This lining calfskin is often referred to as "Togo".

This belt is also lightly padded across the entire belt and this padding adds more dimension and character to the belt.

This belt is made-to-order and can be customised to your liking. For the total length of the belt, we recommend using the following guide: [Your Waist Size] + 15.5cm/6-inches.

  • Belt Width: 25mm Wide
  • Buckle Material: Japanese Brass

With our leather straps, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with, and submerging the strap in water. While our leathers may have strong water resistance on the surface, water may seep through the core of the strap through the stitching holes causing damage. As a result, we strongly recommend avoiding getting our leather straps wet.

Meticulously Made, Finely Finished

Each of our watch straps is meticulously handcrafted using traditional leatherworking techniques. From precise cutting and saddle stitching to hand-painted edges, every detail is crafted to ensure exceptional durability and a unique patina that enhances with wear. Our straps are lined with Zermatt leather, a premium French calf leather renowned for its hypoallergenic properties and water resistance. As we use only full-grain leathers, the natural variations and distinct characteristics of the material will be evident, making each strap truly one of a kind.

Hypoallergenic Calfskin Lining

In order to provide a luxurious feel, the straps are lined with Zermatt calfskin leather from Tannery HAAS. This premium material is specially developed for use as a lining material and offers exceptional softness and comfort. It is also water and sweat-resistant, making it ideal for use in hot and humid climates.

Fine Hand Stitching

Our made-to-order straps showcase a fine hand-stitching density of 1.93mm. The combination of linen thread with fine hand-stitching makes for a very refined strap.

Strap Thickness

Our standard unpadded strap thickness is 2.2mm and padded strap thickness tapers from 4.5mm to 2.2mm. We are able to customise the thickness of the strap accordingly.

316L Stainless Steel Buckle

Our straps comes installed with a 316L stainless steel buckle which is engraved with our Artisan Straps logo. This buckle comes with drilled lug holes allowing for easy removal without damaging the strap.

Spring Bars

Choose between regular spring bars, quick-release spring bars or no spring bars. While quick-release spring bars are our preference as we love to change straps, we also understand it's not everyones cup of tea!

Smooth & Polished Edges

The edges of our straps are finished with Italian edge paint - sealing the raw edges from wear and tear. With over 5 layers of edge paint applied and rigorous sanding in between, our straps exhibit a beautiful smooth edge.
